I am a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology and have worked and lived in Austin since 1991. I received my PhD from Texas A&M University, and have over twenty years of experience in school-based and collaborative assessment. I enjoy working with children, teenagers, adults and their families in any capacity. I have provided supervision and training to graduate level psychology students through school-based practicum and as Adjunct Faculty at several area universities. I was past president on the Board of Austin IN Connection and I am also a co-founder of a local charter school, Austin Discovery School, focusing on the integration of social and emotional development, brain research and child centered curriculum.

Spending time with family and friends is very important to me. Being the mother of three children, not only do I have the academic knowledge; I have had the privilege of applying it on a daily basis as well. It has been a humbling experience and I have learned as much from my children as I hope they have learned from me.
